Seeking

A confident Customs Agent, that has experience complete Import and Export SADs and Transit Declarations for Road Freight.

Job Description

As an inhouse Customs Agent, the candidate would be completing Import and Export SADs, and Transit documents for the internal planning teams, as well as the necessary port authority references (PBN, GMR, ELO etc) for the vehicle.

Promptly and professionally fulfil customs requests from clients for whom we only provide Customs Services.

The ability to critically assess the information (invoice/CMR etc) presented by the customer for all relevant details required to produce the requested customs documents.

Completion of internal tracking spreadsheets for invoicing purposes.

We are presently looking for Monday – Friday, with one Saturday in December. The team is operational 0900-1800. Working hours will be 42.5hr per week, hours TBA upon successful application. A 1930 finish every 4 Fridays is required.

Experience Requirements

At least two year’s experience in Customs Clearance for road freight.

Knowledge of EU TRACES, IPAFFs and CHEDP’s would be of benefit.

The candidate should be comfortable completing import and export declarations for movements EU/UK and IRL/UK, in both directions.

An understanding of the requirements for Transit declarations, and proper discharge procedures.

Experience with Thyme-IT would be beneficial, but not a mandatory requirement.

Agency support is not required at this time.
