Role: Customer Service Administrator – Inbound

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday 0830-1730

Location: Northampton

Purpose Of the Role:

To manage the administration of European and UK road customer service operations in line with customer requests and network standards. To provide administration in a cost effective and efficient manner. Maximising profit whilst promoting quality and service.

Responsibilities

Administration of Import, Export and UK shipments using the Dachser IT systems.
Maintain quality standards and excellent customer service
To produce identified Key Performance Indicators for the Outbound customer service activity
To liaise with other departments in Northampton and the UK as well as other branches in the network ensuring good working relations
To produce and administer quality and production control reports
Facilitating final checks of customs shipments on internal customs systems
To communicate and co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure that the agreed service levels are met
To proactively inform the customer of any issues or deviations to the shipment process via our event management system and other communication channels
To record accurately all actions taken so that they can be reviewed and analysed
Providing supporting documentation to clients on request

The ideal will candidate will have

Strong track record of delivering exceptional service, with the ability to manage customer queries professionally and efficiently.
A basic understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and related documentation (desirable)
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and maintain accurate records.
Confident in using standard software applications, including Microsoft Office, and capable of quickly learning new systems or software as required.
