Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Roofing Merchant Sales Person to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients, promoting our roofing products, and developing strong business relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through effective B2B sales strategies.
Identify customer needs and provide tailored roofing solutions that meet their requirements.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to secure sales agreements favourable to both parties.
Present product information clearly and confidently, highlighting features and benefits.
Drive sales activities by visiting client sites, attending industry events, and following up on leads.
Manage sales pipelines using IT tools, ensuring accurate record-keeping of customer interactions and transactions.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries promptly and professionally.
Organise sales schedules efficiently, prioritising tasks to maximise productivity.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings.

Experience

Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the construction or building materials sector.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
Valid driving licence with the ability to travel frequently to client sites and industry events.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in IT systems for managing customer data and sales activities.
Demonstrated organisational skills with effective time management abilities.
Customer service experience with a focus on building long-term relationships.
