Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a skilled Alarm & Security Service Engineer to support our expanding customer base across Southampton and the surrounding areas.

As an Alarm & Security Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a wide range of Alarm and Security systems across commercial and high-end residential client sites

Responsibilities will include:

Design and installing new systems for customers
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Reactive fault finding and repairs
Diagnosing and resolving system issues efficiently
Ensuring systems remain fully operational and compliant
Delivering exceptional customer service on-site
Completing service documentation accurately and professionally

You'll work across a variety of systems including:

CCTV
Access Control
Intruder Alarms

The role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working autonomously, takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, and values building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

Proven experience servicing Security systems
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working with CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems
Good technical knowledge and problem-solving ability
Professional, customer-focused approach
Full UK Driving Licence

This role will predominantly cover Southampton, Hampshire, and the surrounding areas, attending a variety of commercial client sites for planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and reactive repairs across various systems.

Salary & Benefits

Hours & Financial Package

40 Hours per week
£28,000 - £38,000 basic salary (DOE)
Rest time provided for overnight call-outs

Hand tools excluded

Employee Benefits

30 days of annual leave per year, including Bank Holidays. This entitlement rises by 1 day for each year of service beyond 2 years, up to a maximum of 33 days including Bank Holidays.
