About the Role
We are currently recruiting Level 3 Health & Social Care graduates who are looking to specialise in Childcare and Early Years Education.
This is an excellent opportunity to begin your early years career, with fully supported progression into further qualifications, including:
Early Years Degree
Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
You will join one of our six nurseries across Exeter & Dawlish, supporting children aged 4 months to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities
Child-Centred Practice
- Create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children feel safe and confident
- Build strong, trusting relationships by responding to individual needs and interests
Communicative Approach
- Maintain open, warm communication with parents, colleagues, and professionals
- Share updates on children’s development and wellbeing
Kindness in Action
- Use gentle, positive behaviour guidance
- Promote inclusivity, respect, and emotional wellbeing
Curriculum & Development
- Deliver the EYFS curriculum through engaging, play-based learning
- Observe, assess, and track developmental progress
Safety & Wellbeing
- Ensure children’s health, safety, and safeguarding at all times
- Follow all policies and procedures rigorously
Team Collaboration
- Work closely within your room and across the nursery
- Contribute to a positive, supportive culture
Professional Growth
- Structured pathway to an Early Years Degree
- Opportunity to progress to Early Years Teacher Qualification (EYTS)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Passion to transition into Early Years & Childcare
- Strong understanding of child development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Enhanced DBS check
