Salary: £39,787.28 to £43,709.08

Purpose of the role:
As the on shift Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for providing engineering support to achieve the plant production targets & PPM completion rate to KPI target levels. You will also provide support on breakdowns.
Key responsibilities will include:·
- Responsible for timely completion of all relevant plant PPM schedules and to provide support for all site wide PPM programs.
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained both proactively and reactively to deliver safe and reliable operation in line with planned production requirements.
- Ensure all recording systems for work completion are correctly compiled with all relevant information detailed.
- Responsible for setting and installing blades keeping the same high standard and tolerance.
To be successful in the role, you will require:
- Good academic qualifications (i.e. C&G or NVQ in a Mechanical Engineering discipline)
- Apprentice trained & qualified
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experiences in a maintenance function within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of fault finding, breakdown repairs, completion of Preventative Maintenance routines on Mechanical aspects of various manufacturing production equipment, Continuous Improvement activities
- Light Welding and Fabrication (Advantageous)
