Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex engineering projects, ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, good team working skills and a customer-focused approach. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our operations, providing valuable support across multiple departments.

Duties

Design, develop, and review electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to support ongoing projects and maintenance activities.
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment to minimise downtime.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing technical issues promptly and effectively.
Document all work activities accurately, maintaining detailed records of repairs, modifications, and inspections.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all engineering activities.
Learn to work with electrical motors, Generators, pumps and much more.

Skills

A strong knowledge of handheld tools and power tools.
Knowledge of electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
Able to work in a team to meet deadlines.
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and repair.
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks independently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
Customer service orientation with a problem-solving attitude to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.32-£22.45 per hour
