As our business continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our Gas & Heating Maintenance Team.

The Role
You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, and minor installation works across a range of plumbing and heating systems within residential and social housing environments.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work independently, manage your own workload, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional service to our clients and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, repair, and replace a wide range of plumbing and heating systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Work on communal heating systems, including HIUs (full training provided if required)
- Power flush heating systems
- Install and replace TMVs, valves, pipework, and associated components
- Repair and maintain LTHW, HWS, and CWS systems
- Identify maintenance issues before they become major problems
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately using a mobile PDA
- Support quotation preparation through site surveys and technical reporting
- Liaise professionally with residents, clients, and colleagues
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years' industry experience
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working within social housing or residential maintenance contracts
- Good understanding of plumbing and heating systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Knowledge of risk assessments and safe working practices
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to pass a DBS check
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- Experience with HIUs and communal heating systems
- Experience within the renewables sector
- Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Previous use of BigChange job management software

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
