Job Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Trainee Dispensing Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations and delivering exceptional patient care. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in medication dispensing, patient interaction, and pharmacy procedures within a dynamic healthcare environment. Under supervision, you will gain hands-on experience in medication management and customer service, setting the foundation for a rewarding career in pharmacy.

The normal working days will be Wednesday to Saturdays

Duties

Assist qualified pharmacy staff with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Prepare prescription labels and package medications following established protocols
Support medication administration processes by ensuring correct dosages and patient details
Provide friendly and professional assistance to patients, answering basic queries and guiding them through pharmacy services
Maintain organized records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions
Help with stock management by checking medication supplies and reporting shortages or discrepancies
Uphold safety standards and confidentiality in all aspects of pharmacy operations

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare support role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
Enthusiastic about learning new skills within the pharmacy environment
