Fully Qualified Sports Therapist / Sports Massage Therapist

Resolve Physiotherapy – Sutton Coldfield
Regular daytime & evening shifts | Weekend availability desirable

We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly reliable Sports Therapist / Sports Massage Therapist to join the team at Resolve Physiotherapy in Sutton Coldfield.

This is an opportunity for the right person to become an integral part of an established clinic with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for high-quality treatment.

Our sports therapists are in high demand, and we are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional sports massage, build strong client relationships and confidently manage their own diary.

The Role

Our Sports Therapists work alongside our physiotherapy team to help clients:

Maintain healthy movement and physical wellbeing
Prevent injury and support their training
Optimise recovery and performance
Manage muscular tension and general aches and pains
Maintain their progress following physiotherapy treatment
Support their overall health and wellbeing

You will not be expected to diagnose or treat injuries outside your scope of practice, but you must have a good understanding of common sporting and musculoskeletal presentations and be confident recognising when a client would benefit from assessment or treatment by one of our physiotherapists.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is experienced, competent and genuinely passionate about their profession.

You will need:

A recognised and relevant Sports Massage / Sports Therapy qualification
Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality sports massage — experience is essential
Appropriate professional indemnity/public liability insurance and membership of a recognised professional body
Strong knowledge of anatomy, injury prevention, recovery and sports massage techniques
Confidence adapting treatments to individual clients rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all massage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A professional, personable and confident approach to clients
A strong understanding of professional boundaries and scope of practice
A commitment to ongoing CPD and evidence-based practice

Daytime appointments
Evening appointments
Some weekends where required
