Assistant Showroom Manager – Cavani (Nottingham)

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to join our Nottingham team. In this key role, you will support the Showroom Manager in all aspects of daily operations, from driving sales and leading staff to ensuring the highest standards of customer service and store presentation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about menswear and retail leadership, looking to grow within a fast-paced, style-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Showroom Manager in overseeing day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive showroom sales.
Greet clients, understand their needs, and provide personalised styling advice and product recommendations.
Assist with staff training, motivation, and performance development to ensure the team consistently meets sales and service goals.
Manage staff scheduling, ensuring appropriate cover for holidays and busy trading periods.
Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and ensure all financial processes are completed accurately.
Maintain showroom standards through effective stock management, replenishment, and merchandising aligned with the Cavani brand image.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Support in implementing marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to increase footfall and sales.
Monitor sales performance, prepare basic reports, and contribute to strategic store improvements.
Uphold company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety standards.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, upcoming trends, and seasonal collections to confidently assist customers and guide the team.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-focused work environment that embodies the House of Cavani ethos.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role (menswear or fashion experience highly desirable).
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire a high-performing team.
Passion for customer service and creating memorable, personalised shopping experiences.
Commercially aware, sales-driven, and confident in achieving and exceeding targets.
Organised and proactive with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and professional presentation.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods.

Pay: £26,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
