Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Freelance Event Manager to orchestrate memorable corporate events that leave a lasting impression. In this role, you will take charge of planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring seamless operations from start to finish. Your energetic approach and organizational prowess will drive successful gatherings that delight guests and exceed client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, event logistics, and creating extraordinary experiences in a freelance capacity.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and specific event requirements
Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth execution
Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and service providers to secure necessary resources
Manage all logistical aspects including setup, registration, guest management, and breakdown
Oversee on-site operations during events, ensuring timely delivery of services and addressing any issues promptly
Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance the overall guest experience and increase revenue opportunities
Maintain clear communication with clients and team members throughout the planning process to ensure alignment and satisfaction

Qualifications

Proven experience in event management within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or fundraising environments
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines
Excellent time management skills to coordinate various event components seamlessly
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and guests effectively
Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities during events
Experience in guest services and hospitality industries is highly desirable
Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems proactively in a fast-paced setting
