Full job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4, Personal Assistant within the General Medicine Management team 36 hours. Hours can be negotiated. This will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Management team within General Medicine
Manage and coordinate diaries, appointments, and meetings
Prepare and organise relevant documentation, reports, databases, SSTS & eESS
Act as a liaison between the Management team and internal/external stakeholders
Assist in the coordination of departmental projects and initiatives
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Handle communication and correspondence on behalf of the Management team
Minute taking for Service Speciality meetings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

It is anticipated there will be high interest in this post therefore may close early. Interviews will be held 2 weeks after the closing date.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

Permanent, full-time post at 36 hours per week.

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday
