Job Overview

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them through the drink menu with enthusiasm and professionalism
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while providing attentive service to all guests
Handle cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and process payments securely
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and ensure a safe environment for everyone
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, managing time effectively to meet guest needs

Experience

Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is essential, demonstrating familiarity with serving techniques and customer engagement
Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and food safety standards to uphold high-quality service
Ability to perform basic math accurately for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members, fostering positive interactions
Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements related to alcohol service
