Full job description

The Role

Join our frontline team keeping our clients’ estates clean, safe, and tidy. You will drive specialist waste vehicles, work alongside a crew partner to clear bulk items, and strictly follow health and safety regulations to protect yourself and our communities.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Driving: Manoeuvre specialist waste removal vehicles safely across various residential estates.
Heavy Clearance: Clear and load bulky household furniture, white goods, and fly-tipped materials.
Void Strip-Outs: Clear abandoned or transitioning properties entirely to prepare them for new tenants.
Digital Logging: Use a smartphone or tablet to update job status and upload photos.

Health & Safety Compliance

Safe Lifting: Apply correct kinetic manual handling techniques for awkward, heavy, or oversized items.
Hazard Management: Identify, handle, and report hazardous substances (COSHH) or sharps safely.
Legal Compliance: Complete accurate waste transfer notes to maintain a traceable disposal trail.
PPE & Safety: Maintain and wear mandatory safety boots, high-vis, ballistic trousers, and gloves daily.
Load Security: Secure all vehicle loads safely using nets or straps before moving between estates.
Incident Reporting: Flag near-misses, faulty equipment, and unsafe estate conditions immediately.
Van Management - Ensure all van have van checks completed daily and that all vans are kept clean and maintained
What You Need
Licences: Valid UK Driving Licence (At least one year)· Experience:

Driving a Luton 3.5T van

Physical Fitness: Capability to handle heavy lifting and active outdoor work daily.
Safety Awareness: Solid understanding of manual handling, PPE compliance, and risk assessments.
Reliability: Excellent timekeeping skills to complete scheduled daily rounds.
Customer Focus: Polite and professional manner when interacting with residents.
Flexibility: Mandatory overtime and public holiday working when necessary
