Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wireman / Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical harnesses, components and systems, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting ongoing production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical and mechanical expertise within a dynamic working environment.

Duties

Making of wire looms/various crimping to IPC/WHMA-A-620C requirements.
Assemble electrical components and wiring harnesses using hand tools and power tools in accordance with technical specifications and diagrams.
Support of production teams manufacturing activities.
Conduct basic troubleshooting and testing of assembled units to ensure functionality.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, assembly instructions accurately and wiring diagrams.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Assist in the optimisation of assembly processes to improve productivity and quality.
Working alongside engineers to develop new products when required.
Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant experience in electrical or electronic assembly is preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills within a professional manufacturing setting, contributing to high-quality product assembly while adhering to safety standards.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
