Full job description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Recycling Operative and play a vital role in the sustainable management of clean cardboard waste. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for sorting, processing, and the recycling of cardboard in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duties

Operate manual handling equipment for heavy lifting, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment
Assist with loading and unloading cardboard
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support the team in achieving daily recycling targets by working efficiently and collaboratively

Requirements

Mechanical knowledge or experience working with basic tools and equipment is highly desirable but not essential
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
Prior experience in warehouse operations or recycling facilities is a plus but not essential
Commitment to following safety procedures at all times

This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to environmental sustainability while developing practical skills in warehouse operations. We value proactive team players who thrive in active settings and are dedicated to making a difference through responsible recycling practices.

Hours

2 shift patterns available Monday - Friday 7am-4pm or 10am-7pm. You choose!

Remuneration

Offered on a self employed basis. 8 hour shifts including lunch. £100 per shift
Paid weekly every Friday

Pay: £100.00 per day

Work Location: In person
