Full job description

Business Support Administrator

Location: Amesbury Depot (SP4 7SZ)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Support Administrator to join our team at our Amesbury Depot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied administrative role and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

As an Administrator, you will provide essential support to the site, ensuring administrative processes run efficiently while working closely with colleagues, contractors, and key stakeholders.

About You

Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A proactive approach and willingness to learn.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Processing purchase orders.
Dealing with contractors and supplier management.
Payroll administration.

However, full on-the-job training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to develop their administrative career within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and raising purchase orders.
Supporting payroll administration and ensuring accurate data input.
Liaising with contractors and coordinating site-related activities.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Managing invoices, purchase requests, and general administration duties.
Providing administrative support to the wider depot team.
Assisting with reporting, data entry, and compliance documentation.
