Customer Success & Business Development Executive (Part-Time)

Location: Exeter – office-based
Hours: 20–25 hours per week, flexible
Pay: £13.50–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience

Join TipperLink From Day One

TipperLink is a new technology platform built to modernise how the construction, aggregates and waste industries manage haulage.

We're replacing spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and endless phone calls with smarter software that helps suppliers manage haulage and connect with trusted hauliers.

We're now looking for an energetic, confident person to join us at the very beginning and work directly alongside the founder as we grow the business.

The Role

This is a varied role combining customer success, sales and day-to-day operations.

You'll be one of the first people our customers speak to, helping suppliers and hauliers get the most from TipperLink while also helping us grow our customer base.

Typical responsibilities will include:

Welcoming new suppliers and hauliers.
Helping customers get started with the platform.
Calling hauliers to help cover loads posted by suppliers.
Following up with new enquiries.
Contacting prospective customers and introducing TipperLink.
Building strong relationships by phone and email.
Gathering customer feedback and suggesting improvements.
Keeping customer records and the CRM up to date.
Working directly with the founder to improve how the business operates.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need experience in haulage or construction.

We're much more interested in finding someone who is:

Confident and comfortable speaking to people on the phone.
Friendly, positive and professional.
Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Organised and reliable.
Commercially minded and comfortable with sales.
Excited by the idea of helping build a startup.
Willing to take ownership and help wherever needed.

Experience in sales, customer service, recruitment, logistics, construction or business development would be useful, but isn't essential.

The role is initially 20–25 hours per week, and we're flexible about how those hours are structured.

For the right person, there is significant potential for the role to grow into increased hours and greater responsibility as TipperLink develops.

You'll work directly alongside the founder, have genuine input into how the company grows, and see the impact of your work from day one.
