Full job description

Job Description:

Haulaway are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our team at our busy Waste Distribution Facility. As part of our operations team, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient movement of waste materials on site, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Monday to Friday 7.30 - 17.30

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the loading shovel safely and efficiently to move, load, and sort waste materials
Feed plant in line with site requirements
Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance of the vehicle
Ensure working areas are kept clean and free from hazards
Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
Support other site operations as needed

Requirements:

Valid Loading Shovel licence (CPCS/NPORS or equivalent)
Previous experience working at a waste management or recycling facility preferred
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment
