About Us
We are a well-established, premium deli with a reputation for high-quality, freshly-made food. Our kitchen is a structured, positive environment built on stability—in fact, you will be replacing a valued team member who has been with us for 12 fantastic years. We are taking this opportunity to pause and consider our structure for the next phase of our growth and we are now looking for a experienced leader.

The Role
As our Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the daily production of our entire deli range. This is a role for an experienced chef who loves food but wants to trade late-night restaurant hours for a genuine work-life balance. Your primary focus will be maintaining the exceptional consistency of our signature products while leading a dedicated team. You will be reporting to the Bakehouse Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and organise a small, efficient kitchen team of 6. This is a hands on role and will require the right candidate to assist with food production.
Quality & Consistency: Ensure every batch of food meets our exact standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.
Compliance & Safety: Take full ownership of Health & Safety, Food Safety (HACCP) logs, and maintaining our 5-star Environmental Health Officer (EHO) rating.
Kitchen Operations: Manage stock rotation, ingredient ordering, supplier relationships, and waste control.

What We Are Looking For:

Proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Senior Production Chef.
A calm, organised leadership style—someone who leads by example.
Meticulous attention to detail regarding product consistency and recipes.
Comprehensive knowledge of UK food safety legislation and EHO standards.
Reliability and a desire for a long-term, stable career move.
