Job Advert: Chef De Partie – The Railway Inn, Churston Ferres

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Chef De Partie to join our team at The Railway Inn, Churston Ferres.We are searching for a passionate, dedicated chef who shares our love for great food, and who is committed to showcasing the very best local produce, prepared and presented to an exceptional standard.Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with our recipes and quality standards
Maintain high levels of food hygiene, health and safety compliance, ensuring you and your team follow all regulations
Monitor portion control and minimise waste, helping us to maintain strong profit margins
Work efficiently under pressure – we operate high-volume service, so speed and consistency are key
Collaborate closely with managers, supervisors and the wider team to deliver excellent food, every time
Share your ideas: we welcome recommendations to improve our dishes, processes or overall service

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience cooking and preparing food from scratch in a high-volume environment
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your section effectively during busy shifts
A positive, team-focused attitude
A commitment to quality, consistency and great flavour
Experience with traditional British food is a bonus – we are famous for our Sunday roasts!
