We are looking for a talented and proactive Legal Content Writer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer with a strong interest in the legal sector to shape the firm’s voice across digital platforms, media channels, and internal communications
You will produce high-quality content, support marketing initiatives, and help maintain a strong, consistent brand presence. If you enjoy turning complex legal topics into engaging content and collaborating with colleagues at all levels, this role will suit you perfectly.
- Research and write content for the company website, including articles, updates, and thought-leadership pieces.
- Manage website content through daily uploads, SEO optimisation, and updating existing materials.
- Draft press releases and liaise with media contacts to secure coverage.
- Support legal directory submissions and lead on drafting award entries.
- Maintain staff profiles and ensure biographies remain accurate and up to date.
- Monitor legal developments to produce timely, relevant content.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and support the delivery of key marketing projects.
- Create social media content, manage the social media calendar, and engage daily across platforms.
- Produce marketing materials and collaborate with the design team on ads and visual assets.
- Provide analytics on website traffic, engagement, and content performance.
- Support internal committees including Events, Charity, and Pro Bono.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and influence senior stakeholders on marketing initiatives.
- Undertake occasional travel to other offices within and outside London.
- Carry out additional duties as reasonably required.
- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing, Journalism, Law, or a related field
- 1–2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or journalism, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with digital content creation, SEO principles, and CMS platforms (desirable).
- Work in a professional, supportive team with room to grow.
- Build experience across a wide range of digital marketing tasks.
