Full job description

Experienced Front of House Team Member (Part-Time)

Bean & Grape is looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our busy team on a part-time basis. If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering outstanding service, we'd love to hear from you.

At Bean & Grape, every guest experience matters. From welcoming customers with a smile to delivering attentive table service, you'll play an important role in ensuring every visit exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, friendly and professional service to every customer.
Take food and drink orders accurately using our EPOS system.
Serve food, coffee, cocktails, wine and other beverages to a consistently high standard.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menus, daily specials and drinks offering.
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including barista coffee.
Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring all areas are clean, organised and ready for service.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant, café and bar.
Process customer payments accurately.
Work closely with the kitchen and wider team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Uphold Bean & Grape's high standards of hospitality and presentation at all times.

Requirements

Previous front of house experience in a busy café, restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
Flexibility to work a mixture of weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Barista or bar experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
