Full job description

Job Summary: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant/ Credit Controller to join our UK Accounts Receivable team on a 3 month fixed term contract. This position is based in Aylesbury with hybrid working. About the role:

Perform credit control activities, securing prompt payment from our customers in line with terms, minimizing overdue balances and bad debt
Liaise between the Business Units’ Commercial Teams and Customers to resolve any disputes in a proactive, professional and supportive manner
Issue customer statements, reconcile accounts and proactively liaise with key customer accounts
Post cash receipts from customers
Investigate any unidentified/unallocated payment to minimize unallocated cash
Raise journals in Finance Operating Systems
Reconcile credit card receipts to appropriate ledgers
Maintain shared email in-boxes in co-ordination with other team members
Contributing to reporting and ledger updates with AR Team Lead and Business Units
Maintaining and ensuring correct customer master data

Do you have what it takes?:

Previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit Control
General knowledge of accounting processes
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills

£28,500 - £30,000 per annum
