Denmead Preschool is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027, with the possibility of extension subject to staffing requirements and the needs of the setting.
About the Role:
-Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
-Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027, with the possibility of extension subject to staffing requirements and the needs of the setting
-Start date: September 2026
-Pay rate: £13.50 per hour for applicants aged 21 and over; £11.50 per hour for 18–20-year-olds
-Initially 15–18 hours per week over 3 days
-Hours may increase during the year to meet the needs of the setting
-We are open from 8.00am–5.00pm during term time, plus selected holiday club weeks
-Ideally, applicants will be available across our operating hours, although we would consider candidates available from 8.30am–3.30pm.
-Newly qualified and experienced practitioners are both welcome to apply

Successful candidates must hold, or be willing to undertake, Paediatric First Aid training. Employees are also required to subscribe to the DBS Update Service following the issue of their DBS certificate and maintain this throughout their employment.
