Role: Coordinator – Engagement

Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Grade: SC1

Target Salary: £37,312 Per annum

Location: Peterborough

About the Role

Are you an organised, proactive professional who thrives on keeping people, projects and priorities on track? We're looking for a highly capable Team Coordinator to support the Head of Marketing & Communications, Heads of Engagement and Engagement Directors in planning and coordinating engagement activity across England, Scotland and Wales.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of a team of more than 100 mobile colleagues. From coordinating meetings and events to supporting recruitment, budgets and workforce planning, you'll be at the heart of helping the team deliver its objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

Planning and coordinating internal team meetings and large-scale events.

Managing diaries for the Head of Marketing & Communications, Heads of Engagement and Engagement Directors.

Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and headcount management.

Administering and monitoring team budgets, ensuring accurate financial tracking and control.

Coordinating and monitoring project activity, providing support where needed and leading projects when appropriate.

Managing recruitment processes for management-level positions.

Building strong working relationships with colleagues and teams across CITB and external partner.

Working collaboratively across departments to ensure effective delivery of engagement activities.

What we’re looking for:

Essential

A high level of organisation/project management experience Experience of budget administration

Proven track record of working collaboratively in complex organisations Well developed written and spoken communication skills

An ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others Experience of managing conflict

Experience of working autonomously

Experience of using Microsoft Office or equivalent tools including spreadsheets, databases, document management and communication applications

Proven problem-solving experience

Experience of working one-to one and developing effective working relationships across teams

Desirable

Knowledge of/experience working in the Construction sector

Other Requirements

Some travel and overnight stays required around the UK
