Overview
We are seeking a two dedicated Kitchen Porters, one part time and one full time.

To join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting the culinary team to deliver exceptional service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills within the food and hospitality industry.

Duties

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and thoroughly
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to meet health and safety standards
Supporting the organisation of storage areas and ensuring stock is properly stored
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures
Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Helping with general cleaning duties to uphold a hygienic working environment
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods as required

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is equally valued
Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules

Pay: £12.21-£12.75 per hour
