About the Role:
London is one of the world’s most active commercial centres, and at Llornkcor Business Services, we help organisations manage their purchasing activities with greater control, transparency, and efficiency. We work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that goods and services are sourced responsibly, competitively, and on time.
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who can manage day-to-day sourcing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and support the continuous improvement of our procurement processes. You will work closely with finance, operations, project teams, and external vendors to secure suitable commercial terms while maintaining quality and service standards.
This role is suited to someone who is commercially aware, organised, confident when negotiating, and comfortable managing multiple procurement requirements at the same time.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our London workplace provides a professional and collaborative environment where procurement plays an important role in business planning and operational performance. You will work with colleagues from different departments and have direct visibility into how purchasing decisions affect company results.
Commercial Involvement:
Procurement is treated as a strategic business function rather than a purely administrative process. You will contribute to supplier selection, cost-saving initiatives, contract discussions, and purchasing decisions.
Varied Responsibilities:
You will manage requirements across multiple categories, giving you exposure to supplier sourcing, tendering, contract support, purchasing analysis, and vendor performance management.
Growth:
You will have opportunities to expand your commercial knowledge, participate in procurement training, and develop towards broader responsibilities in sourcing, contracts, supply chain, or vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Sourcing:
Identify and assess potential suppliers based on pricing, service quality, reliability, capacity, and compliance requirements.
Request for Quotation Management:
Prepare and issue requests for quotations, compare supplier proposals, and provide clear commercial recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Negotiation:
Negotiate prices, payment terms, service levels, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions to achieve value for the business.
Purchase Order Management:
Create and monitor purchase orders, confirm supplier acknowledgements, and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Maintain professional relationships with existing suppliers and act as a key point of contact for commercial and service-related matters.
Contract Support:
Assist with the preparation, review, renewal, and administration of supplier agreements while ensuring that approved terms are properly documented.
Cost Analysis:
Review purchasing data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support procurement initiatives that improve efficiency without reducing quality.
Vendor Performance:
Monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels, delivery expectations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with finance, operations, project teams, and department managers to understand purchasing requirements and provide procurement guidance.
Compliance:
Ensure that procurement activities follow internal approval procedures, ethical sourcing standards, data protection requirements, and relevant UK regulations.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, or a related commercial role.
Commercial Skills:
Strong understanding of supplier evaluation, quotation comparison, purchasing processes, negotiation, and cost control.
Communication:
Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders by email, telephone, video meeting, and in person.
Analytical Ability:
Able to compare commercial proposals, review purchasing data, identify risks, and make evidence-based recommendations.
Organisation:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, supplier queries, and procurement requests simultaneously.
Systems Knowledge:
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, procurement platforms, purchase order systems, and business management software.
Qualifications:
A qualification in procurement, supply chain management, business, finance, or a related subject is preferred. CIPS qualifications or progress towards CIPS certification would be advantageous.
Language Skills:
Professional written and spoken English is required for supplier communication, documentation, reporting, and internal collaboration.
Mindset:
You are practical, commercially aware, and accountable. You understand the importance of balancing cost, quality, delivery, service, and supplier risk when making procurement decisions.
Pay: £3,314.00-£4,917.00 per month
Work Location: In person
