Role: Trainer/Assessor - Early year

Hours: 36.25 hours per week , Permanent - Full Time

Salary: £32,943 - £43,356 FTE

Employer Pension Contribution: 15% FTE

Location: Trafford and Stockport College Group- Stretford Campus, STEM Talbot Road, M32 0XH

The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for experienced Trainer Assessor to join the Early Years team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

The Role:

As a Trainer Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing learners in the workplace to support the completion of their qualifications, including marking. You will support apprentices and employers, complete all apprenticeship paperwork, and use OneFile and college systems to track and complete learners' progress. Additionally, you will handle onboarding and exam registration for learners and participate in the internal quality assurance process to ensure high standards are maintained.

As a dedicated Trainer Assessor specialising in Early Years, you will bring a wealth of experience and passion for nurturing the development of young children. With a strong background in early childhood education, this role offers you the opportunity to hone your skills in creating engaging and effective training programs that empower educators to excel in their roles. Your approach will be centered on fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment, where both trainers and trainees can thrive. By staying abreast of the latest educational trends and methodologies, you will ensure that your training sessions are always relevant and impactful. Your goal is to inspire and equip early years professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to make a positive difference in the lives of children.

Candidates must have a minimum L3 Teaching assistant or Early years qualification, Assessor qualification, GCSE 4+/FS L2 in maths and English. Candidate will need to have a driving licence and car, to perform visits.
