Job Description

Are you a strategic programme leader with a passion for delivering complex product development initiatives? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where innovation and collaboration drive success? If so, this is your opportunity to make a real impact at Rotork.

As an NPD Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing Rotork’s new product developments to life. You’ll lead a diverse portfolio of strategic projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across multiple business units.

This is a high-visibility position, requiring strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to align complex programmes with strategic business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and manage a portfolio of New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through to delivery
Drive programme alignment with Rotork’s strategic objectives
Collaborate with Executive Sponsors and Business Leads to ensure stakeholder engagement and programme success
Oversee programme resources, timelines, and budgets to deliver projects on time and within scope
Ensure adherence to stage-gate processes, quality standards, and governance frameworks
Proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests to maintain momentum and mitigate challenges
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, and commercial teams

Qualifications

Qualifications & Technical knowledge:

Significant experience delivering complex and critical programmes and projects.
Proven leadership of large, multi-disciplinary project teams.
Experience operating within structured stage gate / product development processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage risk, complexity, and ambiguity.
Strong stakeholder management at senior level.
Ability to translate strategic intent into actionable cross-functional plans.
Experience working with client and internal stakeholders alongside external vendors and consultants.
Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organisation, embrace diversity and inspire/influence others to be the best they can be.
A team player that shares knowledge and insights, but also able to demonstrate a strong level of initiative.
Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices.
Can effectively communicate technical information with a non-technical audience when required.
Adapts style to contribute and enhance overall team performance.
Proven ability to set and maintain direction and hold self and others to account to deliver business outcomes on time and within budget.
Ability to communicate clearly and manage change effectively.
Supports and encourages positive working behaviours in others during task fulfilment.
