About the role
Do you enjoy helping people feel listened to, understood, and supported?
We are looking for a compassionate and approachable Family Support Leader to join our friendly Family Services team at Daisy Chain. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with parents and carers, offering practical advice, and helping families feel more confident in supporting their child.
The role is primarily telephone based, providing low-level support, guidance, and signposting to families whose child may be autistic, ADHD, or have another neurodevelopmental difference, whether diagnosed or not. Many parents contact us because they are looking for someone to listen, help them make sense of what is happening, and point them towards the right support.
Alongside telephone support, you will meet families face to face, help with local parent coffee mornings and community drop-ins, and work closely with colleagues and partner organisations across the Tees Valley.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to families at an early stage, helping them access support before difficulties escalate.
