Infrastructure Engineer

Content Guru is a leading global provider of enterprise cloud Customer Experience (CX) and contact centre solutions, and we are at the forefront of the Generative AI evolution.

We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to help support and evolve our cloud platform that powers mission-critical services for some of the world’s most important organisations. If you’re passionate about infrastructure automation, continuous improvement, and working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What we are looking for…

We’re seeking a motivated mid-level infrastructure professional with at least 2 years of experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations role. You’ll contribute to the design, delivery, and maintenance of our globally distributed cloud infrastructure, working with a wide range of technologies to ensure resilience, scalability and performance.

This role is based at our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Key responsibilities of the role…

Infrastructure Implementation & Support:

Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions with zero-downtime deployment practices
Provide hands-on support for operational issues and contribute to platform reliability

Continuous Improvement & Automation:

Automate workflows and processes to reduce manual intervention and enhance operational efficiency
Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines

Monitoring, Observability & Security:

Develop proactive monitoring strategies and contribute to security best practices
Participate in incident response, threat simulation and operational runbooks

Troubleshooting & Collaboration:

Provide 3rd line support and collaborate with 1st and 2nd line teams to resolve technical issues
Work cross-functionally with developers to support seamless deployments

High Availability & Flexibility:

Design and implement systems with high availability and disaster recovery in mind
Support a global, always-on environment with flexibility to respond to evolving business needs

About you…

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant infrastructure or DevOps role
Familiarity with a range of operating systems, cloud technologies and hardware
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
Good understanding of containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Understanding of security principles and monitoring practices is desirable
