Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Estimator and become a vital contributor to our project success! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and supporting the bidding process to secure new business opportunities. Your expertise will help ensure projects are financially viable while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. We value proactive, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to make a tangible impact through precise cost control and strategic planning.

Duties

Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary data and clarify project requirements.
Prepare detailed bid proposals that include material costs, labor estimates, equipment needs, and other relevant expenses.
Conduct market research to stay informed about current prices for materials, labor rates, and subcontractor services.
Implement cost control measures throughout the estimating process to ensure budgets are maintained effectively.
Review and update estimates regularly based on project changes or new information.
Assist in the negotiation of contracts by providing transparent cost analysis and supporting documentation.

Experience

Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
Demonstrated ability to develop accurate cost estimates with attention to detail and precision.
Excellent skills in cost control techniques and budget management.
Proficiency with estimating software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and suppliers.
Ability to analyze complex data sets quickly and make informed decisions under tight deadlines.
