Job Overview

SAAJ Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of a respected client for a Catering Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join a busy and professional catering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with catering or kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Duties

Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Set up and maintain dining and service areas to a high standard.
Ensure excellent hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
Organise, store, and manage ingredients and kitchen materials efficiently.
Assist with food preparation and storage in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Support the kitchen team with general catering and kitchen duties.
Work collaboratively to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skill and Requirement

Previous experience in a fast-paced catering, hospitality, or kitchen environment.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
Available to start immediately (preferred).
Willingness to undergo a standard DBS check.
Own transport is essential due to the location and limited public transport access.
Successful candidates will be subject to alcohol and drug testing in line with client requirements.
