Job Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Security Dog Handlers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in security operations, working alongside trained security dogs to ensure the safety and protection of premises. The position is suitable for those interested in pursuing a career in security, with comprehensive training provided. All roles are paid and are designed to develop your skills in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Support loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activities
Participate in the training and handling of security dogs under supervision
Conduct regular patrols around the premises to maintain security presence
Respond appropriately to security incidents
Maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations
Follow established protocols for safety, security procedures, and emergency response

Experience

No prior security dog experience required as comprehensive training will be provided
An interest in surveillance, loss prevention, and canine handling is desirable
Basic knowledge of CCTV systems and security procedures is advantageous but not essential
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations
Willingness to learn new skills related to security operations and dog handling
Good organisational skills and attention to detail are important for maintaining accurate records
