Job Description:

As a Dental Receptionist with our Dental Practice, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Patient Reception and Communication:

· Greet patients warmly and provide a friendly and professional first impression of the practice.

· Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.

· Check in patients, verify their information and update their records as necessary.

· Provide accurate and clear information to patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance coverage.

· Maintain confidentiality and handle patient information with care and sensitivity.

Administrative Support:

· Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized reception area.

· Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling to optimize the practice's efficiency.

· Process patient registrations, insurance forms, and other administrative documents accurately.

· Assist with billing and financial transactions, including collecting payments and internal payment processes

· Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth communication and coordination of patient care.

Customer Service Excellence:

· Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

· Handle patient complaints or difficult situations in a calm and effective manner, seeking appropriate resolutions.

· Anticipate and respond to patient needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.

· Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the practice, making patients feel valued and cared for.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

· Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

· Proficiency in R4 is preferred

· Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance processes is a plus.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Positive attitude and willingness to contribute as a team player.
