Full job description

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented HR administrator to join our People Team and HR Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional administrative support.

As a HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR records are maintained accurately and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and compliance activities.

Shine is a BSI award winning national fleet of mobile bodyshop repair specialists. With over 20 years’ experience in the automotive industry, we’ve built a trusted name for delivery high-quality vehicle repairs and putting out customers’ needs first.

We specialise in mobile bodyshop solutions for minor vehicle damage carrying out repairs at locations convenient for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day to day administrative support to the HR and People Team
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
Support recruitment activities, including posting adverts, CV screening, scheduling and holding interviews and preparing offer letters and contracts
Respond to internal and external HR related queries and respond in a timely manner
Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new starters
Monitor employee probation periods and create supporting documents
Support payroll administration by providing accurate employee information
Assist with benefits administration
Assist in planning and execution of HR initiatives and company events
Support with employee engagement activities
Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislation

Essentials for the role:

Previous experience in HR administration
Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage confidential information sensitively
Proactive approach and willingness to learn
CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential
