Job Vacancy: Warehouse Operative (Late Shift)

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11 9HS)

Pay: £12.80 per hour

Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) & 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Friday)

Job Description

We are looking to strengthen our team in Bristol by recruiting several Warehouse Operatives for our late shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, well-established company and build a long-term career.

We are seeking motivated, driven individuals who are ready to work in our busy, fast-paced Avonmouth warehouse on a permanent, full-time basis.

Holiday Allowance: 22 days of holiday per year (which increases with your length of service) plus bank holidays.
Experience: No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided from day one.
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate. Unlimited overtime and Saturday shifts are available.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Select, measure, cut, and drum cables correctly following specific job orders.
Prepare, secure, and pack orders safely for transit.
Follow standard operating procedures to a high standard.
Accurately log all completed jobs on company work sheets.
Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.

Training and Qualifications

While experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not essential. We will provide full training, including:

General warehouse stock and inventory systems.
Cutting procedures and techniques using specialized machinery ranging from 0.5 to 12 tonnes.
Cable cutting procedures and general safety protocols.

Forklift Licence: We prefer candidates to hold a Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence. However, if you do not have one, full training and licensing will be provided by the company.Who We Are
