Customer Service Advisor

Location: Chadwell Telecom
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm
Additional Hours: Some evening and weekend work may be required to meet business needs
Job Type: Full-Time

The Role

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent support to customers, handling enquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive customer journey from start to finish.

Experience within the mobile phone industry is highly advantageous, as the role involves supporting customers with mobile phone contracts, devices, upgrades, billing queries, and network-related services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist customers with mobile phone contracts, upgrades, handset queries, and service-related issues.
Handle complaints and resolve customer concerns effectively.
Process orders, account updates, and administrative tasks accurately.
Maintain customer records and ensure all information is up to date.
Liaise with network providers and suppliers when required.
Identify opportunities to upsell relevant products and services where appropriate.
Meet service standards and contribute to team performance targets.
Support the wider business with general administration duties.

Skills and ExperienceEssential

Previous experience in a customer service role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong telephone manner and customer-focused approach.
Good organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable

Experience working within the telecommunications or mobile phone industry.
Knowledge of mobile phone contracts, handsets, networks, and billing processes.
Previous sales or account management experience.
