Business Administrator (Finance, Property & Operations Support)

For An Award Winning Nursery Group

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and versatile Business Administrator to join a Head Office in Aylestone, Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our growing nursery group across business operations, finance, property, and facilities.

Your Role

As Business Administrator, you will:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to our Head Office, Nursery Managers, and senior leadership team.
Support business operations across all ten nurseries, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
Set up and manage supplier accounts, service contracts, and help secure best value across the business.
Create and maintain trackers, reports, and systems to keep information organised and accessible.
Maintain property compliance records, servicing schedules, and certification to ensure sites remain audit-ready.
Support the finance function with purchase ledger, invoices, supplier accounts, payments, and financial administration.
Assist with monthly reporting and other finance processes alongside the Head of Finance.

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Previous experience in business administration, office management and book keeping.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and coordinating projects.
Good commercial awareness and confidence managing contracts and service providers.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Experience with finance systems, bookkeeping, payroll, or Xero would be an advantage.
A professional, trustworthy, and confidential approach.
The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.
A full UK driving licence is desirable for occasional travel between nursery sites.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, which will be arranged by the Nursery.

Salary & Working Pattern

Full-time, permanent
Head Office based in Aylestone, Leicester
Occasional travel to nursery sites
Salary from £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience
