Full job description

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Quality Controller at our Peterborough site in our Intake department. This is a fixed term, weekly-paid position providing consistent work, reliable hours, and potential growth opportunities within a thriving business.

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off – (06:00 – 18:00)
Hourly Rate: £13.70 (paid weekly)

As an AMFRESH Quality Controller, you will:

To inspect incoming raw material and finished product in accordance to summary specification/tolerances and set Quality control procedures.This requires lifting 18kg boxes to inspect the fruit on the pallet.
Meet monthly KPI’s on compliance, accuracy and productivity.
Supply Quality Inspection Reports on all incoming raw materials to our Procurement teams.
Complete regular reports via paper and on the tablet.

About You

To be a successful Quality Controller, the qualities we are looking for are:

Strong attention to details
Ability to work independently and carry out tasks in a timely manner
Proficiency in both Excel and Word
Previous experience in a quality assurance role is beneficial (experience within fruit industry would be an advantage)
