Full job description

The Role: Engineering Supervisor

Location: Hemswell, DN21 5TU

Shift Pattern/Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm

Salary: £50,000 - £56,000

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead PPM delivery in their designated area, and develop a team of engineers within a fast paced manufacturing site.

This role is critical to plant performance and requires a leader who can plan effectively, deliver through others, and actively coach, develop and motivate engineers to a high standard, while ensuring all work is delivered safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and deliver the PPM plan aligned to production schedules
Lead, coach and develop engineers to improve capability and performance
Manage contractors on site, ensuring safe systems of work and compliance
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement activity
Ensure all maintenance activity is managed through CMMS (SAP)
Maintain full compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Essential Criteria:

Proven experience supervising engineering teams in manufacturing
Strong commitment to safety, with experience applying safe systems of work, risk assessment, and contractor control
Sound organisational and planning capability
Demonstrated experience developing and coaching engineers
Solid understanding of PPM/TPM/CBM methodologies and CMMS systems
Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship + HNC minimum)
