We are recruiting for two Learning Operations Officers to join our Ofsted Academy team.

In this role, you will provide project and operational support to help deliver Ofsted Academys learning, training and development programmes, including managing shared inboxes, coordinating communications, and supporting a range of learning activities. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure programmes are effectively coordinated, enquiries are handled professionally, and learning operations run smoothly.

This is a fantastic opportunity to further your experience in Ofsteds well-established team. The post holder will work with high-achieving professionals at all levels, surrounded by a friendly and supportive team. Selection process details

This vacancy is using Success Profiles , and will assess your Behaviours, Experience and Technical skills.

Application and shortlisting:

You must complete and pass the online verbal test before submitting an application. The deadline to complete the assessment is 11:55pm on 13 September 2026.

The selection panel will assess your application based on your evidence you have provided against the essential criteria as set out in the person specification.

You will also be asked to provide information within the Employer/Activity History section of the application form. This information is equivalent to the information you would provide on a CV setting out your career history (this may be used in the sifting process).

Use the STAR model (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to present your evidence.

Should a high number of applications be received, an initial sift will be conducted against the lead criterion listed below. If necessary, a full sift will then be carried out against the remaining criteria outlined in the person specification.

The ability to work independently, as well as in a team, and to tight deadlines, proactively and on own initiative.

Interview:

Candidates who pass the benchmark at the shortlisting stage will be invited to an assessment and interview where they will be assessed against a mixture of the Civil Service behaviours and the experience/technical skills set out in section 3 of the job specification.

We will invite the most suitable candidates to attend an interview week commencing 28 September 2026. The interviews will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams.
