About the Role

We’re expanding our fulfilment team at Just Bee!

As one of The Sunday Times 100 fastest growing companies in 2026, we are seeking a reliable and observant Senior Operations Assistant to provide hands-on support at the heart of our fulfilment centre. You will work closely alongside the fulfilment supervisor every day, helping to keep daily operations running smoothly and ensuring outgoing mail is processed accurately and on time.

This role works directly alongside the supervisor position, rather than directly managing. Your primary job is day-to-day support. At the same time, you will be fully trained on all supervisor responsibilities so that when the fulfilment supervisor is away, you can step in and cover their duties with confidence, keeping things running without a hitch.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Support daily packing and label printing operations
Ensure all 2nd Class mail is dispatched by 2pm and 1st Class mail by 3pm
Carry out quality control checks and maintain accuracy standards
Support QMS audits and promotional packing campaigns
Help maintain an organised and efficient fulfilment centre

Supervisor Cover — Ad-Hoc
When the fulfilment supervisor is on holiday or absent, you will take on the full supervisor responsibilities. You will be trained on everything needed so this transition is seamless.

Running fulfilment centre operations
Coordinating workloads and allocating tasks
Managing communications and logistics issues with couriers
Overseeing quality, stock control, and QMS reporting
Acting as the first point of escalation

About You

You will be experienced working in a fulfilment, warehouse or logistics environment
Have a team first attitude - happy to support and be supported
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive communicator
Familiar with fulfilment software and inventory management systems
Comfortable lifting up to 13kg
Able to work on your feet for long periods and carry out the physical demands of a fast-paced fulfilment environment

Working Hours & Conditions

Monday - Friday 16:00 - 00:00 (Midnight)
Saturday and Sunday 8:00 - 16:00
Saturday and Sunday 16:00 - 00:00 (Midnight)
6 month fixed term contract
Ad-hoc overtime may be required by agreement
Minimum three weeks notice required for holiday requests
No holidays in November or the first half of December without prior approval

Performance
All team members are accountable for achieving their weekly targets, which are reviewed at team meetings. As Senior Operations Assistant, you will be expected to help the team hit these consistently — and own them fully when covering the Supervisor.
