Salary range: Up to £45,000 per annum DOE inclusive of regional pay allowance

Sonic Healthcare UK encompasses the two main entities in the UK, The Doctors Laboratory (TDL) and Health Services Laboratories (HSL). With our core laboratory based at The Halo Building in London WC1H 9AX, we also have an expanding site in Manchester as well as smaller hospital-based laboratories across the country. We maintain rigorously high standards of quality, whilst also delivering efficiencies to healthcare through careful workforce planning, pioneering technology and significant investment in infrastructure and IT.

About the role:

We are currently recruiting for an employee relations specialist to move into our established Human Resources Advisor team at Sonic Healthcare UK. This role will be responsible for offering practical employee relations advice to managers across the business and advising on ER policy and process.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable immersing themselves fully within the business to build an in depth operational awareness and strong relationships with managers and senior leaders, which in turn will enable them to provide valuable advice that fits with operational needs. Our HR Advisors have a strong presence within the organisation and are trusted experts on employee policies, procedures and best practice aligning with employement law.

The HR Advisor will work alongside the existing workforce continuing to support the business in developing confident people managers, as well as raising the profile of the department as subject matter experts. A strong employee relations background is essential for this position, with experience advising managers through complex investigation, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
