Full job description

Electric Center Chester is looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Internal Sales Account Manager to join our busy and successful branch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, solving problems and working in a fast‑paced trade environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of trade accounts
Handle incoming enquiries by phone, email and at the trade counter
Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to secure orders
Support external sales with account development and customer visits
Work closely with the warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure excellent service
Maintain strong product knowledge across the electrical wholesale range

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 years’ internal sales experience, or equivalent electrical sector experience with clear potential for a sales position (electrical wholesaler experience preferred)
Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
Commercial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities
Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Team player who contributes to a strong branch culture
