JOB DESCRIPTION
If you are a passionate, inquisitive, and detail-focused Equity Research or Investment Banking professional with experience in the Staples & Beverages sector and strong knowledge of Equity Research and financial modeling, this role is for you. You will work within our top-rated team, under the mentorship and guidance of Senior Analysts, contributing to thematic deep-dives, strategic reviews, results analysis, and industry presentations. As an Associate or Vice President in the Consumer Staples Equity Research Team, you will contribute to writing research reports, including thematic deep-dives, strategic reviews, results analysis, and industry/company presentations. You will communicate with institutional investors, company representatives, internal clients (Sales, Sector Specialists & Trading), and other stakeholders. You will create, maintain, and update company models and databases, gaining exposure to a wide range of industry topics and building relationships across the business.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in Research or Banking (Industry, ECM, M&A).
- Passion for markets, stocks, and investing.
- Strong analytical, accounting, and quantitative skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently with colleagues and external clients.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed materials.
- Strong time management skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
