Sales Engineer – HPE Networking

Following the acquisition of Juniper Networks, HPE Networking is bringing together industry-leading networking, security, AI-driven operations and cloud management technologies to help organisations transform how they connect, secure and manage their networks.
We're looking for talented Sales Engineers to join our growing Networking team supporting customers across Public Sector, Education, Healthcare, Local Government and Enterprise environments.
Whether you're already working in pre-sales or looking to transition from networking, professional services, technical support or consulting, this role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a customer-facing technical role.
What You'll Do
Partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and business challenges.
Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops.
Design networking solutions across the HPE Networking portfolio.
Support customers through discovery, evaluation and proof-of-concept activities.
Build trusted relationships with customers and partners.
Develop expertise across enterprise networking technologies including Wi-Fi, switching, security and SD-WAN.
Work alongside experienced technical specialists while developing your own pre-sales capability.
What We're Looking For
TCP-02
2+ years' experience in networking, technical support, professional services or a customer-facing technical role.
Strong networking fundamentals.
Passion for technology and customer engagement.
Looking to build a career in pre-sales.
Excellent communication skills.
TCP-03
5+ years' networking industry experience.
2+ years' pre-sales experience or equivalent customer-facing technical experience.
Experience running demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concepts.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies.
Able to work independently with customers while leveraging wider specialist support where needed.
