At The Bosville Hotel, we're looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our friendly kitchen team. Whether you're looking to start your career in hospitality or already have kitchen experience, this is an excellent opportunity to work in one of Skye's most popular hotels while developing valuable skills in a fast-paced environment.

Home to the award-winning Dulse & Brose restaurant and offering stunning views across the bay, the hotel welcomes guests from around the world who come to experience exceptional Highland hospitality, outstanding food, and the natural beauty of Skye.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, clean, and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and glassware.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen, storage, and preparation areas.
Support chefs and kitchen colleagues with basic food preparation when required.
Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and organisation of kitchen supplies.
Safely dispose of waste and support recycling procedures.
Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.

What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a busy team environment.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Flexible and proactive approach to supporting colleagues.
